Have you ever been manipulated, tricked, bullied or shamed for enjoying the naked human form?

If so, don't feel bad, most of us have at some point.

There are many out there who will try and shame you for enjoying, or finding the naked human form, to be pleasing to the eye and artful. These people, i believe, are saying far more about themselves than they are about you.

Many (most) of these people (i have found throughout my life), are generally weak minded, have self image issues and are quite often religious. To which i find is one of the biggest hypocrisies considering they are the first to stand up against religious discrimintaion. These people feel they have the right to believe in fairytales that persecute everyone, (even their own believers), will have you go through life feeling guilty, that you are born with "sin" and some magical space guy is all powerful, yet fills his time punishing those he gave free will to. This, they believe, gives themselves the right to humiliate, conquer and kill other peoples around the globe for either believing something different, for looking different or having desire towards one sex over another, as though that was a choice made. Religion i feel is one of the most despicable things a person will use as an excuse to destroy, demean and and permanently harm others, purely to justify their own belief system, all the while empowering themselves to feel superior above all. In these days of 'enlightenment', where we as a society as a whole, are for more intelligent and have access to information on an unprecedented level, should not allow these sadists to get away with it any further! These people have an inflated sense of self pride (even though that is a sin lol), are basically damaged goods and should by the most part, be ignored (and mocked) but mostly pitied for such naive notions.

There far too many contradictions and absurdities within their 'faith', regardless of denomination, that could be pointed out, however, this is not an anti-religious post, it is to show you that NOT everyone thinks and feels as they do. If this post helps just one person to shrug off society's obsession with trying to dictate what you should like, how you should look, act, dress, speak, think, then i consider this post a success. As you go through life, you'll find most people you meet will have an agenda in some form or another, recognize this, once you do, you will empower yourself to never give others the power to dominate, nor control you.

These people who are vocal against nudity are the very same people who would have you walk through a town while being spat on, throwing rocks at you to permanently scar you both physically and psychologically, all the while screaming with utter hate filled hearts, yelling "Shame Shame Shame" as though life were a Game of Thrones episode. If they cant get away with doing that, they will happily settle on making the world as bland as they are, so we all dress, look, speak, think and drink the same vanilla flavoured milkshake as them, because how dare you like chocolate! All the while these same people will deceive themselves going to bed each night honestly believing they are "good" people.

Here is an example that will hopefully shed some light on the "right and wrong" way to approach life.

Many people have a fear of spiders. This fear is often instilled within us in childhood by our parents etc. By the most part, this fear instilled is simply a tool used by them to help you as a child, to avoid being bitten by a nasty that could do you considerable harm. So you may think this is a positive lesson learned however this has now for ever, injustly given spiders a bad rap, how? let me explain.

I live in Australia, where we have 8 of the 10 world's most deadliest snakes, we also have spiders the size of dinner plates and many spiders that can either kill or permanently disfigure you. We also have many killer species of marine life, reptiles and the list goes on and on. If you talk to an American as i have on many occasions, I have often joked that here in Australia, if you can't see a critter trying to kill you, it's probably behind you. Many Americans see Australia as an extreme place to live filled with danger, however, i feel America as a country is potentially far more hazardous to your health than Australia ever could be. All my life i have swam in the ocean, taken many a bush walk and cleared up many a junk pile filled with nasties. Yet here i am, unscathed, what were the chances? On the same hand, i have also never been held at gunpoint, been threatened harm by a majority or been on the receiving end of a terrorist attack so, give me those nasty spiders any day, cover me in them even, for i shall still rejoice at living in the "lucky country".

It is a common approach here (in Australia) to allow "DaddyLongLegs' spiders to live/flourish in one corner of every room, why? because they quickly and easily kill the spiders that can actually do you proper harm. Even "huntsmen" spiders that can grow larger than dinner plates, that can jump a considerable distance and that look scary as 'hell' when they rear up their fangs at you, they are also a house friendly spider as they also clear out the nasty bugs and spiders etc. I used to play with both afore mentioned varieties as a child, allowing them to run over my hands and all these years later, yet to be bitten. So, should i have instilled an unwarranted blanket fear of all spiders to my children? no of course not, and i didn't, subsequently my children who are now adults are yet to also ever be bitten. My daughter has to do the spider killing etc in her home whenever her husband shrieks out in fear sighting one. Subsequently, their children have a curiosity and healthy caution towards them, not hating all spiders. As hating/fearing all spiders is as non-sensical as hating all nationalities different to you. As silly as finding the naked form in any way, as being something to be ashamed of.

As you will see by the content i "fav" on this site, i champion the naked form. I am, have always been and will always be a bit of a naturalist, being outside naked is one of life's luxuries still afforded to me. Most content i "fav" is female form related as i find the female anatomy to be the most pleasing thing ever grown in this world. I champion the cause as a result to the badgering many people are on the receiving end in many sites and platforms for doing so. I do agree there are circumstances that nudity should not be present, however not many!

To those repressed, i can conceive that yes, nudity could be confronting, could cause arousal and could subsequently provoke unsocial behaviour, but to those of us well adjusted adults, nudity is simply the appetizer before the main course. The act of sex and it's depiction is another thing however, we/i are not here to discuss sexual behaviour or the depiction of it in image form, we are talking about the naked human form, which has NOTHING to do with sexual behaviour and it's depiction. Please understand the difference.

We are in a new decade/millennia so empower yourself, don't allow others to have the power over you. If you want to like, post or enjoy the naked human form, you go for it and fiercly defend your stance as fiercly as those who may oppose you do. In my eye, you are simply being honest to yourself and others, unlike many sick fetished closeted doo-gooders will ever admit to. Personally, the more uptight and repressed an individual is, the sicker they are behind closed doors.

What i find to be the most laughable/saddest thing on Deviant Art is the very vocal push by the minority to ban any naked depictions. Has no one pointed out to them the name of this site??? Do they not understand the actual meaning of deviant? I shall provide actual definition; deviant (diːvɪənt) "departing from usual or accepted standards, especially in social or sexual behaviour". So they come to a deviant specific created site that allows those of us outside the general attitude, a vehicle to submit and enjoy art for those of us like-minded. However these sick and twisted people feel they have a right to try and have us booted from our own site??? Stating this kind of behaviour has no place in DA, go figure! I would laugh tears if it wern't so sad a reflection on humanity.

So live life loud and proud as though you have nothing to be ashamed of... because you don't!
